Pablo The Penguin Joins The Great Waddle of Worcester Finale with The Recruiting Co.

Pablo with friends!

This weekend we proudly joined the local community for the grand finale of The Great Waddle of Worcester art trail at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

It was a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and of course, penguins! Our very own mascot, Pablo the Penguin, was front and centre alongside Club Captain Jess Fassnidge and our amazing sponsors, The Recruiting Co.

The day marked the final chapter of this incredible eight-week event, where the city has been brought to life with beautifully designed penguins, each one unique and fun, capturing the heart of our vibrant city.

Worcestershire County Cricket Club provided the perfect setting for the Farewell Event. For the first and last time, all 80 penguins – large and small – came together in one place, and we must say – Pablo was in their element! The atmosphere was fantastic as the community gathered to celebrate this wonderful initiative, which has helped raise awareness and funds for St Richards Hospice.

We were pleased to be part of this event, and it was great to see so many familiar faces from the Worcester community. The penguins have not only been a colourful addition to the city streets but also a brilliant way to bring people together, and what better way to say goodbye than at this iconic location.

A huge thank you to our mascot and shorts sponsor, The Recruiting Co. It was great to spend a fun afternoon with the team for this memorable community event to wave farewell to some of Pablo’s friends.

Jess Fassnidge, Pablo, and Matt Healey
